We launched and scaled a revenue-generating external learning program, built partnerships across sports and mental health sectors, and represented the organization at major conferences and funder engagements globally.

FAR EAST BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (FEBA): Our international experience includes serving as strategic management for FEBA in Nairobi, where we secured funding and led the development of a youth community basketball court in the Kayole district as well as several community-based sessions on mental health..

BROOKLINE EDUCATION FOUNDATION (BEF): Sibour chaired a multi-functional strategic plan for the BEF, which is board led, to enable them to focus on growth, sustainability and mission for the next five years.

PARENTS FOR PEACE (P4P): Sibour set up an operations structure at Parents for Peace (P4P) where we managed staff, interns, and workflow to enhance operational efficiency. We created a comprehensive five-year business plan and budget to grow the organization from $200k to $1M and developed and implemented organizational operational and financial policies. In this role we created and implemented a Helpdesk intake system and protocol for the helpline and trained staff to cover the intake calls. Sibour also designed and executed fundraising initiatives, events, webinars, and presentations. In addition, we created content, managed, faciltated and piloted a 6-week trauma-informed-care program for the Aurora, CO police dept.

    PRINCIPAL

David Cohen is a mission-driven operator and advisor with 27+ years across non-profit, education, and for-profit sectors. As the first CEO of Doc Wayne (2011–2026), he grew an early program with roughly $150K in seed funding into a nationally recognized organization—raising more than $20M in philanthropic and institutional support and expanding services to reach over one million youth.

David also oversaw The Community Clinic, a Massachusetts-licensed outpatient program, and led program, clinical, and operational integrations, including a strategic merger and technology-enabled service expansion.

David’s strengths include revenue diversification (grants, institutional contracts, earned revenue, corporate partnerships, and major gifts), organizational scaling, operational systems (budgeting, forecasting, KPI dashboards), and partnership development. He coaches founders, executive teams, and boards on strategy, go-to-market planning, leadership transition, and building sustainable program models that preserve quality while enabling growth.

A seasoned fundraiser, relationship builder, and public ambassador, David combines hands-on deal experience with a collaborative, board-ready presence. He has served on nonprofit boards (including Epic Experience) and frequently speaks on leadership, innovation, and mental-health access.

His honors include recognition from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Beyond Sport, and the Social Innovation Forum.

David holds a BS from Babson College and an MBA from Bentley University. A lifelong athlete, he played college soccer.
